Somizi Mhlongo gets dragged by Twitter users on Sunday night, following his comment about Idols SA contestant, Thapelo, who performed Lloyiso’s song titled Seasons.
The contestant made it to the top 4 of the singing competition and many marveled at his performance of the RnB song.
The South African musician topped the trend list on Twitter as many expressed their thoughts about Som’s judgment of the performance.
The judge said Thapelo performed the song better than its owner which triggered lots of viewers who poured out their anger on the microblogging app.
“We not hating, but to say he sang SEASONS better than the owner Lloyiso is a big joke. Mara Somizi can mislead,” a tweep wrote.
Somizi is urged to apologise to the singer for being disrespectful.
