Manchester United have finally opted against upping their bid for Bologna striker, Marko Arnautovic, according to The Athletic.
Man United was expected to offer another bid to sign Arnautovic after its first £6.million offer was rejected by Bologna.
But the Red Devils have now made a u-turn on their pursuit due, in part, to a number of complaints from fans stemming from a one-match ban issued to Arnautovic for using an anti-Albanian slur at Euro 2020.
Man United are expected to switch focus to other attacking targets, with Sasa Kalajdzic and Cody Gakpo among them.
Man United manager, Erik ten Hag, is expected to sign a new forward to bolster his attack line before the summer transfer window closes in September.
